SynthFace is a large-scale synthesized dataset/benchmark for 3D face reconstruction from 2D images, designed to enable and evaluate methods that predict facial shape and depth without extensive 3D supervision. It consists of 250K photorealistic images paired with corresponding FLAME 3DMM shape parameters and depth maps, generated by conditioning Stable Diffusion on sampled depth maps and curated to be diverse and balanced in race and gender.
