Description

MADE (MAterials Discovery Environments) is a benchmark for evaluating end-to-end autonomous materials discovery pipelines by simulating closed-loop discovery campaigns in which agents propose, evaluate, and iteratively refine candidate materials under a constrained oracle budget. It formalizes discovery as a search for thermodynamically stable compounds relative to a convex hull and provides a flexible, componentized framework (generative models, filters, planners) to compare efficacy and efficiency against baselines and perform ablations across system complexity.
